- Use of the term "Class" in reference to warships. Specifically, "class" is being applied to commercial or international consortium common design families that are highly customized by purchasing Navies to such an extent that they cannot be considered a single class. The multiple variants of the MEKO type and the new European Patrol Craft (EPC) are examples of warship families that should not be called "classes" in SpurnWater71's view.
- Inconsistent use of the terms "completed" and "commissioned" with regard to warship history. More generally, a consistent warship lifecycle taxonomy and model is suggested.
- More consistency and uniformity on network protocol and technology Wikipedia pages.
