Robert Maxwell Eason (born 18th February 1981) is a former English cricketer. Eason was a right handed batsman. He was born at the John Radcliffe hospital Oxford, Oxfordshire. Eason made his Oxfordshire debut against Wales at the famous St Helens ground, scoring 33 on debut. Robbie as known to many, was an opening batsman, he went onto play 12 Minor county games, scoring 546 runs at an average of 26, hitting three half centuries with a highest score against Herefordshire of 90 notably against a attack consisting of Martin McCague the ex England and Kent seamer in 2003. Eason also had the rare feat of carrying his bat undefeated of 80* against the same opposition the following season hitting 80* in 2004 and earning praise from legendary Oxfordshire skipper Keith Arnold.
