Teddy Galbert
Teddy Galbert is a boy singer, he was born in Ogden Utah in December 4th,2013. When he turned 5 his journey through the music started, he took drums lessons and began to listen to rock music, he developed a big love for music, especially old rock-pop music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. When Teddy performed for the very first time, he did it at a LDS church where he and his family assisted, there was the first place where he begin giving concerts. When Teddy turned 11, he recorded a cover by BJ Thomas called Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, it has not too much success, but his next step was to make a collaboration with his chuch friend Louis Velázquez to sing The Girl Is Mine by Paul McCartney feat. Michael Jackson. Altough Louis was older than Teddy he recognized Teddy's gifts from the first time he met him,the cover they recorded together had a little more of success than the first cover recorded by Teddy, but this wasn't enough to be popular in the music business around that time.
After his first recording Teddy was looking for something new, something that could give him more credibility to his music career, so he decided to record a solo album dedicated to The Beach Boys music, with the help of his other friends, who were musicions too, and together formed "Teddy Galbert & The Kid Band" a new group formed just for kids yo show what they can give to the music world.
After the released of the album, called "The Teddy Galbert Album, A Little Tribute To The Beach boys", Teddy and his band were very excited because it was a, on his own words " a blast", there was no delay when they received a promotion to a tour in the summer, which consisted of a lot of concerts around The USA. The tour was a blast, boys and girls from all the country attended to Teddy's concerts with his band. There were a few of concerts outside the USA, which were gave in Mexico, in Tijuana, Cancun, Acapulco, and two massivw concerts in Mexico City, one of them at Auditorio Nacional and the other at Estadio Azteca. "The Summer Tour" as they called it lasted three months from January 26th in Salt Lake City, Utah to September 20th in Seattle, Washington.
As soon the summer tour fineshed, Teddy began to start new recordings, but this time with his dad, who was a very Important factor in his journey through the music, because he used to sing with Teddy while he was playing the guitar when Teddy was younger. This time Teddy wanted to make a single with his dad, which included two songs, "Say You, Say Me" by Lionel Richie and "Watching The Wheels" by John, Lennon. Around the same time a live album from the summer tour was released, it was called "Rockin' Round America" which included a set list from different concerts from the same tour. Another live album was released after this one, but this was just a election of songs from the concert in LA, which was in Saturday, July, 13th, it was called Live On The Beach, The Best Of The Concert In LA ".
Teddy was on the highest point of his career, but he didn't forget his principles and vales, he being raised in a latter-day Saint family was very devoted to his faith, as he said in an interview" I'm a latter-day Saint boy as The Osmonds and I'm not ashamed of it, I love God, He has gave me a lot of gifts and talents and I'm never going to forget him". Teddy was not just recording some fresh modern pop music to make a mini album called "Modern Times, Modern Music", as he said, but he was recording a Christian album which included LDS songs from the 80's. The mini album was released which included four songs from Donny Osmond till One Direction and the Christian album was released a month later, it was called "I Sing Thee A Song From My Heart, P. S. Little bro.. Teddy Galbert".
