Wikipedia: nice idea, hopelessly flawed! I despair at the inaccuracies I find, and more so at the thought that some poor soul is believing the pile of crap being touted here. Such is the power and immediacy of the internet that a whole generation will grow up having been grossly misinformed. These fools will have been indoctrinated with more inaccurate statements in a few short years, than most people with a traditional education will have learned accurately over an entire lifetime.

The best I can do is correct mistakes in articles about which I possess some proper, learned knowledge, but there is nothing to stop some idiot coming along five minutes later and wiping out my hard work.

At best Wikipedia should be seen as a starting point to glean some basic information, but please don't tell people this is the font of all human knowledge because it ain't! It is merely a font of inane drivel concocted by illiterate people with too much time on their hands.

Please, visit a library and read some books if you want to learn stuff!
