The Children of God Reformed Church new article content ...Founded in 2010, this church is an unorthodox Christian denomination with the principal tenet based on the beatitude of Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." <The Holy Bible> authorized King James Version 1986 by World Bible Publishers, Inc. Other articles of the orthodox Christian faith are left to the individual member to accept or not (or not to give an opinion), but if one lives up to being a peacemaker and therefore a child of God, then he or she is saved.
The faith in this guiding tenet is for the nation as well as the individual. It is a faith that requires conviction put into action. In dealing with the potential of actual violence or with a "war of words" or "thoughts of war", the nation or individual when challenged by conflict has to decide whetheer to act with aggression, pacifism, appeasement, or as a peacemaker.
Members of other religious faiths are welcomed so long as Matthew 5:9 takes precedence over other opposing dogmatic beliefs the person may have. This unorthodox Christian theology should be more palatable to other faiths that have in the past and present resorted to violent means to suppress Christianity.
