Solon Star Champion was a children's television character played by Thomas "Tommy" Ray Rusin Sr.[1] on WBAK-TV Channel 38 in Terre Haute, IN in the 1980s. Solon was an alien from outer space who came to earth to learn more about our world along, in turn teaching the children about their world by learning together.
