The following list contains the facilities used by Universal Orlando to house haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights. They range from Soundstages, existing queue lines, or temporary buildings.

Bates Motel |
Located in Universal Studios when the park first opened, the motel was a recreation of the setting of Psycho. The building was demolished in the mid-1990s in order to make room for the "Woody Woodpecker's KidZone" play area. |

The Bone Yard |
Large open area in front of the soundstages in Universal Studios, it was used to display props from universal films and was also used for special events such as Rock the Universeand Universal's Mardi Gras. In 2008, it was closed and replaced by The Universal Music Plaza Stage. |

Carnage Warehouse |
Located in Islands of Adventure behind Doctor Doom's Fearfall, the building was constructed in 2002 for that year's event. It is currently used for storage. |

Disaster! Queue (previously Earthquake Queue) |
Located in Universal Studios, the extended queue of Disaster!: A Major Motion Picture Ride...Starring You! and previously ofEarthquake: The Big One is underneath a large canopy. There are normally props in the area, which are removed to give a large open area for houses. |

Jaws Queue |
Located in Universal Studios, the queue of Jaws was empty for the first two years of the event due to problems with the ride. The extended queue was used in houses in later events. |

Jurassic Park Discovery Center |
Located in Islands of Adventure, the discovery center hosts interactive dinosaur exhibits. The building was shut down for three months to create the haunted attractions. Because of the unique shape of the building, both houses had nearly identical layouts constructed around the building's large staircase and elevator. |

Located within the New York street set of Universal Studios, the houses built there are constructed inside the facades of the New York City buildings. Shortly after the 2007 event aStarbucks was constructed in the location so it is unclear if the shop has taken up potential haunted house space. |

Parade Warehouse |
A large warehouse located behind the Curious George Goes to Town play area. It was constructed in early 2008 to house Universal's many parade floats. While half of the warehouse is being used for storage the rest will be used to house haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights. |

Popeye Queue |
Located in Islands of Adventure, the queue of Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges is long with narrow hallways. When the space was used, poles and ropes were removed to make room for the construction. |

Poseidon's Fury |
Located in Islands of Adventure, Poseidon's Fury is a walk-through stunt and special effects show. The attraction was revamped in 2005 and was used as a haunted house that year. |

Soundstage 18 |
Soundstage 18 hosted Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Orlando. In 2006 it underwent complete reconstruction as it was transformed into the "Sharp Aquos Theatre" for the new "Blue Man Group" show. Due to this change, it is unlikely that it will be used again for the event. |

One of the larger soundstage facilities at Universal, Soundstage 20 typically holds two haunted houses for the event. The soundstage is also used as a storage facility. |

A seasonal restaurant in Islands of Adventure, the restaurant is cleared out so that it serves as a large open floor space. This has worked to Universal's advantage as they are able to have slightly more freedom with the designs they create when using this structure. |

Triceratops Discovery Trail |
A walking attraction in Islands of Adventure that allowed visitors to come face to face with a triceratops, it consisted of a series of trails. The attraction permanently closed several years ago and now sits abandoned. |

World Expo Warehouses |
Two large hurricane-proof, climate-controlled warehouses built in Universal Studios, these tents sit in a large field behind Men in Black: Alien Attack and The Simpsons Ride. Built in 2006 to serve as space for Halloween Horror Nights houses, large lighted cement pathways were installed in the World Expo and Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone areas to access them. |
