Disambiguation link notification for February 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Constructivism (philosophy of education), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Schema (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Hi Stmullin. Philosophical and sociological perspectives on social change, influence, equality, etc. are of course related, although whether that means sociology deserves direct reference (for indirect relationship) I'm not sure. In any case, philosophy should obviously be there, psychology has a reference, I think the addition of sociology should include a good reference (a review maybe?) which indicates the relationship between soc & phil of education. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Gaijin42 (talk) 16:56, 24 March 2014 (UTC) Only warning[edit]

Please note, that your article was a word for word lift from the first cite given. If you restore a blatant copyright problem again, you are risking being blocked. Stop, and explain your actions. Kuru (talk) 02:30, 25 March 2014 (UTC) WRONG . . . Stmullin (talk) 02:32, 25 March 2014 (UTC) It may be advisable to expand on your explanation. Kuru (talk) 02:33, 25 March 2014 (UTC) The article was correctly cited from multiple sources. the first source was the most concise and was referenced and paraphrased correctly which is NOT copy right violation, the language you are using is not only harsh but blatantly WRONG!!!!Stmullin (talk) 02:36, 25 March 2014 (UTC) Unless I'm missing something significant, you've manufactured a term, used sources which do not mention the term, then closely paraphrased and/or copied at least one source, then simply copied the remaining content from the leadership article. Can you explain which of the sources uses the term "super team"? Kuru (talk) 02:50, 25 March 2014 (UTC) The term was in use during 1998 when I received my MBA, my primary source is a textbook that is currently in storage, the paraphrase is correctly cited, and the quote is appropriate to the article. It took a very long time to correctly format that article and it should have remained in place for seven days to allow for completion. I do not know how you obtained administrative privileges without ever reading an APA guide. Go AWAY . . . I do not have time to teach you how to write. Stmullin (talk) 03:14, 25 March 2014 (UTC) Of course. Kuru (talk) 03:25, 25 March 2014 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Super-team[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Super-team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://sunsite.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/Publications/CEUR-WS/Vol-72/108%20Sharp%20cnfHighPerfTeams.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Gaijin42 (talk) 16:05, 25 March 2014 (UTC) March 2014[edit]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Gaijin42 (talk) 16:18, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Do you agree that Super-team is the same topic as High-performance teams If so, you could save us all a lot of trouble and just redirect it. Gaijin42 (talk) 18:48, 25 March 2014 (UTC) Yes. Stmullin (talk) 18:51, 25 March 2014 (UTC) Copyright problem: Humanism (philosophy of education)[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Humanism (philosophy of education), but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to contain material copied from http://repository.lib.ncsu.edu/ir/bitstream/1840.16/6826/1/etd.pdf, http://www.academia.edu/1957998/Social_Reconstruction and probably others, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. Leave a note at Talk:Humanism (philosophy of education) saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Hello, Stmullin. This message is being sent to inform you that a request for a contributor copyright investigation has been filed at Contributor copyright investigations concerning your contributions to Wikipedia in relation to Wikipedia's copyrights policy. The listing can be found here. For some suggestions on responding, please see Responding to a CCI case. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 01:01, 26 March 2014 (UTC) Check requested by Diannaa (talk)Copyright violations were noted in this discussion. Investigation reveals copyright violations in recent contributions: Diff of Preschool. Source: here. This was taken from another Wikipedia article Marie Montessori so you need to track that one down internally . . . I thought it was approved. Diff of Triangle Town Center: some of it is from here. This is trivia that I found while researching a cookie booth . . . how should it be formatted? Diff of Constructivism (philosophy of education): most of it was copied from here. Constructivism was a meatball edit of someone else's work so I assumed the entries were correct. I did not initiate the article . . . only edited. Diff of Humanism (philosophy of education): source: here. I've never seen the article that you have cited so have no idea where the information came from.I pulled information from the Humanism article so that may be another internal error that needs to be tracked down . . . not my citation . . . taken from another article. Diff of Humanism (philosophy of education): Source: here. This one is now a paraphrase that is correctly cited. I initiated the article Social reconstructionism so am surprised that the paraphrase did not occur in both places. I correctly used the blockquote in that instance . . . much better than * or : when quoting. Hope this helps . . . Only 2 of the errors were my errors . . . and I do not know how to paraphrase the trivia on the Triangle Town Center article . . . trivia is trivia how do you paraphrase trivia?Stmullin (talk) 02:42, 26 March 2014 (UTC) Just did copy edit for Triangle Town Center . . . voila. Stmullin (talk) 02:59, 26 March 2014 (UTC) It's possible that some of these websites are copying from Wikipedia rather than the other way around. That's the sort of thing that will be investigated if the CCI case is accepted. The Triangle Town Center material, because of its promotional tone, was easy to spot as having been copied from their own website. This sort of promotional material is not encyclopedic content and does not belong in the encyclopedia. If you copy material from another Wikipedia article, you must give attribution. It's required by our license. There's more information on this topic at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. -- Diannaa (talk) 03:18, 26 March 2014 (UTC) Oh noooo . . . Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia . . . I did not know that . . . is there anyway to track down all of the transferred material . . . especially the material at Educational theory where I just started reconstruction. I do not want to go through this again . . . if I can not trust the sources in that article then every citation needs to be rechecked.Stmullin (talk) 03:28, 26 March 2014 (UTC) Sorry, I have removed the material from Triangle Town Center, as it's still too close to the source material; it's a copyright violation. What you need to do is summarise the material in your own words, not just copy the material from a source and then change a couple of words. Even three words in sequence copied from the source is considered too much! Presenting exactly the same ideas in exactly the same order is also considered too-close paraphrasing. Material copied from a public domain source or within Wikipedia must be given proper attribution; otherwise it's plagiarism, because without attribution people will assume you wrote the material when actually you did not. There's more on this topic at Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Please make sure you read and understand these copyright concepts before proceeding any further in your editing career! Thanks, -- Diannaa (talk) 03:33, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

On Wikipedia I am only an IP address, not an author, why is their any assumption of plagiarism? All of my articles have been edited and I am repeatedly told that they are not my articles . . . here, I am only an IP address.Stmullin (talk) 03:43, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
