About me
Prior to Wikimedia I was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Adrian Fenty, the former Mayor of Washington, D.C. In this role I served as kind of a utility infielder managing the crisis of the day. In 2008, I took a leave of absence to start the D.C. Public Education Fund, the nonprofit that supported the work of the Chancellor of D.C. public schools and education reformer Michelle Rhee. Beyond that, I have fund raised and done other things for various political candidates and non profits, both as a consultant and as staff.
My work
I primarily work on cultivating and appreciating major individual donors and a few other data-related projects.
