I am a high school science teacher from central Alberta. I teach all the sciences including physics, chemistry and biology. My degrees are in Biology (BSc.with an honours diploma for wildlife research), Secondary Science Education (BEd.) and I am on the verge of completing my Masters in Educational Leadership.

I am a hunter, trapper, fisherman and forager who feeds my family of 4 primarily through what we gather and raise on or near our small 7 acre homestead. I am an accomplished cook with some experience in the restaurant industry and regularly make my own cured sausages and other charcuterie items from the meats I harvest.

Other interests include hockey, reading, good scotch, and Labrador retrievers.
