India is a country that is a home of one of the world's most influential history and civilization. In todays article we discuss about a small village named Babhaniyav, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. In this village a 4000-years-old urban settlement has been unearthed by a team of the Banaras Hindu University's Department of Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology. A temple between 5th to 8th AD was found and one faced Shivling was also found in the excavation done in 2020. On February 20, 2022 for the confirmation of 4000-years-old civilization in Babhaniyav, re-excavation was started by the Department of Archaeology, BHU. The survey found a temple dating back to the 5th century through 8th century, potteries which are 4000-year-old and walls which are 2000-year-old, they have also found a pillar with two line text in Kushan-Brahmi script which makes the finding at least 3500000 years old said A.K.
