A fashion designer by training and a software enthusiast by accident I started to work in the Indian apparel industry and realized how low tech the sme sector in this industry is in terms of its adoption of IT and modern day management practices.I worked my way thru a small organization in the northern textile industry for 5 years and enjoyed bringing about a change in the way things moved around.During this endeavor i got the opportunity to travel across the globe from Europe to China and i decided that i still need more learning to take me to tackle the next level of business issues.Currently pursuing a MBA in Marketing with specializing in Retail Management, and trying to comprehend how greed combined with creative financing and ingenious Ponzi schemes brought the entire globe's growth engine to a screeching halt and caused many a deaths without even raising the sword.But now the challenge for me, i think is to dissect what Design school and my experiences taught me, and map it to the business jargons and process that B-School offers and try to learn how to dance on the fine line called Top Management.
