While the French version alerts about the possible mess and mistakes coming out of the group "accepted thinking" which could reject/restrain individual or external opinions to permeate the group. For me it shows the Adversarial v Inquisitorial cultures, sounding like the Rhetoric v Dialectic for Socrates (& Plato).
