Carsten Bo Eriksen (b. October 2, 1973 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a danish 21st century composer and visual artist. He has composed contemporary, rock, jazz and film music.

Biography

Carsten Bo Eriksen studied composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. (USA) (1993) and later at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen (1997-2003) as a pupil of Ib Nørholm and Hans Abrahamsen. In 2000 he studied balinese gamelan music in Ubud, Bali.
Established the composer-ensemble Nordlys in 1997 and the rockband Melonheads in 2002. In 2004, he received the 3-year Grant from The Danish Arts Foundation.

Music

Carsten Bo Eriksen works in the field of multimedia, with a syntese of contemporary classical musik, minimalism and rock music, often integraded with the visual media, art movie etc.
