Bijnor is one of the oldest city in India which has reference in Mahabharata.It is said that vidur,son of maid of pandavas was born and brought up here.

                   Today bijnor is known for bhardwaj family.It is said that they rule this city for 9000 years.It was merged to India in 1947 when jawahrlal Nehru visited bijnor and upon his request, the maharaja of bijnor decided to merge with India.
                                          Bijnor has the biggest hanuman murti in world. its height is 1000 feet.The maharaja and holy families live behind badi hanuman Ki murti. They said to possess some divine power.
                                                       Every year,bijnor celebrate the birth of her queen, the her majesty maharani richa who is currently visiting USA for studying the effect of global warming on Indian weather and its effect on Indian farmers. She is currently collaborating with various MN C's so that the farmer of bijnor not only understand the effect and its repercussion,but also adapt themselves to climate change.
                                                    The future of bijnor is bright because of open heart of bhardwaj family especially her queen, the majesty Richa.
