Seame is a volume of grain (e.g. wheat, barley, oats, malt) in the UK. One seame is the equivalent of 8 UK bushels. It is an archaic phrase no longer in use. For example: 'To Rychard Burlye my servante, the farme of his howse for one whoole yeare, fyve bushells of sede wheate and half a seame of Barlye.'
