Penta Rajesh

Penta Rajesham (born 22th August 1974) is a businessman, politician and social worker. He is the founder of AASARA foundation under which he organises many social welfare activities

Early life

Penta Rajesham was born on 22th August 1974, the second child of Ramaiah and Narsamma. He is an MA political science and MA (MSW) graduate. He started his career as a cable operator and with his hard work emerged as a MSO and later as a social worker

Political life

He entered politics in early 90's influenced by Shri N T Rama rao . He worked in various cadres in TDP . In 2001 he joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi and soon took active part in separate state movement in Ramagundam. In 2020 Ramagundam municipal elections, he defeated his nearest opponent Dommeti Srinivas by 23 votes and got elected as a corporator of 37th division if Ramagundam

Social activities

Apart from being a cable operator, function hall owner and owning many other businesses, his main passion and zeal was to help people in need. For this he started AASARA Foundation in 2002. He helped many students with poor financial status. Around 150 students got benefited with his help. One of them is a green card holder in USA and other is central government job holder. He organized certificate mela for students, conducted mass marriages (Saamuhika Vivahulu) for needy and poor ones. As a corporator in Ramagundam Municipal Corporations he offers financial support for girls as a maternal uncle for their marriages, financial aid is also extended for deceased people in his ward. One of most remarkable work as humanitarian is "Vaikunta Ratham". This vehicle carried dead bodies from home to funeral place, this service was provided for free
