‘Blu-Ray’ DVD Format: The basic of storage of large memory in BLU RAY technology lies in the use of shorter wavelength of blue-violet(405nm) light instead of red laser(650nm) beam.

Capacity of a Blu-ray Disc compare to other media:

A Blu-ray Disc can store up to 50 gigabytes of data.which is equal to 10 recordable DVDs (or 5 double-layer DVDs), or around 70 recordable CDs.

Kind of data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc:

Text documents, images, video and audio files software or operating support.

Quality of Blu-ray Disc video:

Blu ray disc offers high definition video with a resolution of up to 1920x1080 and upto 54 Mbit/sec bandwidth.
