Maggie 'n' Brigid
Maggie 'n' Brigid is an original stage play written by Shane Harnett.
Plot
Maggie and Brigid are two friends who haven’t seen each other for decades. When their lives reach a turning point, they both turn to baking. And baking brings them back together… As well as drinking. And arguing. And making up. Theirs is a friendship of tenderness and venom. And a great deal of humour. When Maggie suggests taking a holiday to Rome to see the Pope, Brigid agrees and the two women set off on a road trip that will define who they are and how they relate to each other.
Staging
The world première production of Maggie 'n' Brigid will take place in Teatro San Genesio, Rome, Italy, on Tuesday 2 April, 2019. The production is directed by Michael Fitzpatrick, stars Maggie Davies and Shelagh Stuchberry, and is produced by Wonderwall Entertainment.
