Born 7th march 1982, in dheri syedan, village Chando Maria, Tehsil Havelian, District Abbottabad.

He was born on March 7, 1982 in village Chando Maira , Tehsil Havelian of Abbottabad district, his father's name was Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf and grandfather's name was Chaudhry Noor Ahmed.

Shakeel Ahmed Azad get his primary education from Maktab School Dheri Saiddan . Chando Maira, he completed his graduation from Government Post Graduate College Mandian, Abbottabad. He also get a 4-year diploma from National council of Homeopathic.

During his studies, he was working as a sub-editor in daily Sarhad News Abbottabad.

Along with the newspaper, Shakeel Ahmed azad joined a private radio station in 2004. Where he was hosted various programs, he was hosting entertaining and current affairs programs.

Also worked as reporter and newscaster. After that appointed as Director News.

For three years shakeel Ahmed represented Hazara Division for the urdu radio service Voice of America's program Sada-e-Jehan. (Program Sada-e-Jehan was broadcast in Pakistan and all over the world with the calibration of radio news network .

You are the first private radio journalist how's worked with Voice of America Urdu radio service from Hazara Division.

shakeel ahmed azad also worked as editor daily akhbar abbottabad and peshawar.and magazine incharge also.

Worked with daily subh abbottabad, daily naday hazara.

Now he is working with FM radio mansehra . And along with own website voa .com.pk
