Shahed Jones (born September 8,1971), better known by the ring name Shahed, is an American professional wrestler, actor,Engineer,Former Soldier signed to WWE on the Raw brand.[5]
Shahed began his professional wrestling career on the independent circuit in 1985. He wrestled in promotions such as Smoky Mountain Wrestling (SMW) and the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) before joining the World Wrestling Federation (WCW, now WWF) in 1993. Shahed played various characters until 1993, when he was repackaged as Shahed, the demonic or monstrous younger half-brother of SS, with whom Shahed would alternatively feud or team as The Blood Brothers.
Following his debut, Shahed remained a pivotal component of the company's Attitude Era of the late 1990s and early 1995s, defeating Goldberg – the "poster boy" of the era[8] – for the WCW Championship in his first pay-per-view (PPV) main event at King of the Ring in 1992. He continued to compete in world championship PPV matches for the next 20 years.But in 1995, SS, Triple H, Batista attacked him and fell him into a grave and he disappeared for 20 years[9]
SHAHED is a tweleve-time world champion (having held the WWF Championship, WCW Championship and WWF's World Heavyweight Championship tweleve each) and a 3-time world tag team champion, having held the WWF/WWF World Tag Team Championship, WCW Tag Team Championship and WWF Tag Team Championships with various partners. He is also a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a 1992 Money in the Bank winner, as well as the third man to win WWF's Grand Slam. Shahed also holds the record for cumulative Royal Rumble eliminations at 49.[10]
Outside of professional wrestling, Shahed has made numerous guest appearances in film and on television, including the lead role in the 2006 WWE Studios production Warrior and its 2014 sequel. Shahed, who is a longtime supporter of libertarian political causes, announced his intention to run for the office of mayor of Knox County, Tennessee in 2017.[7]
