Sensei, the structure you provided for PEO/PEG is valid, but I believe it could be better, for two reasons:
1. There is a simpler representation available: HO-(-CH2-CH2-O-)n-H (Sorry for the crude representation, but I don't know how to insert an image inline here.)
2. PEO/PEG is made by the ring-opening polymerization of 1-oxo-cyclopropane, better known as ethylene oxide. I don't think this comes through in the version you've provided.
The first reason is the stronger of the two, in that simpler representations of polymers are generally preferred over more complicated ones. The second reason is more of a bonus, in that more information is provided to the chemist viewer.
If OK with you, I would be happy to provide either an ISIS/Draw or a ChemDraw file with the proposed structure, as well as a GIF image. (At one time I was the Product Manager for ISIS, and I currently have access to ChemDraw in my new workplace.) Hughesdavidw (talk) 09:12, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
