Katya Ogonek (the pseudonym of Christina Evghenievna Penhasova, may 17, 1977 - october 27, 2007) was a russian singer of chanson. She was born in Dzhubga, Krasnodar krai. At 16 years she came to Moscow. In 1995 she win a project of russian chanson. She died in 2007 of heart failure. Among her most important albums are The way of my life (1999), The kiss (2004) and Katya (2005).
