Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum is located in Hamilton, Ohio and started as 40 acres of land purchased by Harry T. Wilks to construct his home in 1987. He continued to acquire the surrounding land, an additional 260+ acres and added roads, lakes, and hiking trails to create a non-profit public park, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum. With a strong passion for arts and sculpture, Harry T. Wilks aspired to preserve the 300+ acre land for future generations to enjoy the combination of beauty that comes from art and nature. Over 80 permanent outdoor sculptures are displayed in a landscape of rolling hills, meadows and lakes in addition to a few galleries to explore: The Ancient Sculpture Museum which opened in 2007 and the Museum Gallery which host rotating exhibitions from local, regional, and national artists. Pyramid Hill's outlook is to inspire and educate their diverse visitors in a world renowned setting of art and nature as well as being a catalyst for dialog, collaboration, and contemplation.

During the holiday season, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum transforms into a beautiful display of decorative lights, appropriately named "Holiday Lights on the Hill". A tradition that has delighted visitors of the park since 1999. An annual Art Fair came about in 2003, which draws in more than 60 visual artists nationwide. The Park can also be rented for special occasions. With the option of both indoor and outdoor venues, Pyramid Hill can accommodate any event such as corporate retreats, family reunions, meetings, birthdays and anniversaries, weddings and any other kind of life celebrations.

History

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum was founded on 40 acres of land purchased by Harry T. Wilks (1925 - 2014) with the intention to construct his home, known today as Pyramid House, in 1987. Mr. Wilks had a strong appreciation for art and sculpture and slowly began to purchase the surrounding land. He built roads, walking trails, created small lakes, and cleared land to showcase monumental sculptures. In 1997, Harry T. Wilks created a non-profit sculpture park in order to protect the land from commercial development. He wished to preserve the land for future generations to enjoy by creating a park that is accessible to the public while also combining the beauty of nature and art.

Harry's mission is carried on to this day through Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum's dedication to presenting world-class art, the nurturing a living natural park, and creating community focused programming such as 'Holiday Lights on the Hill, where thousands of holiday lights illuminate the park during the winter season. In 2007, a 10,000-square-foot Ancient Sculpture Museum opened it's doors. Inspired by the architecture of a traditional ancient Roman home, the museum features Harry's personal ancient sculpture collection. In addition to the ancient sculpture collection the museum also features an exhibition space dedicated to rotating contemporary art exhibits.

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum is the largest tourist attraction in Butler County and has dubbed the city of Hamilton, Ohio the "City of Sculptures". With tens of thousands of people visiting the park every year from all over the world, Harry's vision continues, thanks to the support of its members and partners.

Good for 1 year from the day of purchase to the same date of the following year. Pay the difference is also available if you decide to upgrade your day pass to a membership (can only be done the day the day of pass purchase).
