Julia Stephanie Evadne McGregor (born 9 April 1911 in Oracabessa, Jamaica; died 4 July 1936 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK) was a notable 20th Century Jamaican woman. She was the first woman from Jamaica to attend the University of Edinburgh School of Medicine. Though she died three weeks before graduation in 1936, her family and friends kept her memory alive. After rediscovering the historic significance of her attendance, the University of Edinburgh awarded Stephanie a posthumous medical degree on 4 July 2015, 79 years to the day after she died.
