Dasiths, Wikipedia is not a free advertising tool. It is not intended to promote any company or product. Thank you. --science4sail talkcon 15:33, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Spam

[edit]

A tag has been placed on FutureSinhala, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. science4sail talkcon 18:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Do you read the articles before you deem them unfit?

[edit]

I am mystified at your recent decision to delete my article on FutureSinhala. Please provide me with an explanation. --Dasiths 13:02, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

The reason I tagged your article for deletion is that it sounds too much like an advertisement. The next time you make an article, try putting {{advert}} on the top to tell other users that it is not shameless self-promotion, but is instead a work in progress. Basically, I think that you should make your article less promotional and more NPOV. --science4sail talkcon 19:10, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
I have understood the chnages needed and i wish to make them. I just submitted it again. Plz go thru it again and take what ever appropriate action. --Dasiths 19:17, 7 January 2007 (UTC).
I'm storing a copy on your user subpage for safekeeping --science4sail talkcon 19:21, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Any edits I make to the thing will be there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Science4sail (talkcontribs) 19:23, 7 January 2007 (UTC).

vandelism

[edit]

Thanks for your concern, but it was just my way of being weird, not vandelism--Dudeman5685 02:37, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Please check the history of articles before marking them for speedy deletion. Although the article was nonsense, a quick look at the history revealed a real article had just been vandalized. Thanks, Jerry lavoie 21:54, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
