About
[edit]Hello. I am known on Wikipedia as Scholastic Opponent. I chose this user name, Scholastic Opponent, because I am interested in scholastic subjects, the difficulty of editing Wikipedia, and I was on a radio broadcast called Scholastic Opposition in community college.
I began contributing to Wikipedia in late July 2008, and have edited nearly every second since then, with a few short wikibreaks lasting a minute at the longest. I have yet to become an administrator, with about 1 edit, and hope to reach 1000000 edits by the end of this week.
I am a young American community college student living in the Bronx, majoring in economics. I have written hundreds of articles on American economists (including beginning the articles on many current investment analysts and stock brokers), businessmen from nearly every other state in the country, and edited a few other articles, mostly about nineteenth century mathematicians, but I have also created and edited some articles on less recent periods of mathematics, and other subjects such as architecture, Greek philosophy and athiesm. At the beginning of this writing, my real life became much more dull, and since then my participation on Wikipedia is much more than it used to be. However, I don’t plan to quit.
I don’t comment on Articles for deletion and policy discussions ever, but I consider myself a extreme exclusionist and a strong believer in the truly terrible impact that Wikipedia has had on the world (especially for computer nerds), and will comment in other discussions more if I feel that my input is not wanted.
Because of my advanced sense of humor, formatting can sometimes be difficult for me, but other than that it does not make my participation here much different.
