Andrew Roy Brizio Jr. (August 28, 1956 – present) known professionally as Roy Brizio is an American of Italian descent and one of the late 20th and early 21st century's elite hot rod designer, customizer, and builder in the automotive industry. The owner of Roy Brizio Street Rods, Brizio has a unique "hot rod heritage" that has lead to the specialty construction of cars for celebrities, professional sports figures, famous musicians as well as for notable people throughout the automotive aftermarket industry. This group of notable individuals include musicians Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton plus professional baseball player Reggie Jackson. [Bertilsson 1]
Family
[edit]Brizio is eldest son of Andrew Roy Brizio Sr.'s four children. Known in the automotive community as Andy Brizio, Brizio Sr. is notable in his own right for his early efforts in the production of a home construction T-roadster street rod kit, the Instant T, and for his ownership of the famous San Francisco Bay Area automotive performance business the Champion Speedshop. Brizio was born in (city) and raised by Brizio Sr. and his second wife Norma Demattie.
