Une Lubie de Monsieur Fortune (A Craze of Mr. Fortune) , is a 2009 French telefilm directed by w:fr:Philippe Venault, shown on French television France 2, 24 June 2011. The screenplay was by Patrick Laurent , based on the novel Mr Fortune's Maggot by Sylvia Townsend Warner.

At the beginning of the twentieth century, a young missionary, Vincent Fortune , lands on a Polynesian island, wanting to evangelise the inhabitants. His beliefs waver however, in the face of the islands own native culture, and beliefs.
