[edit]Cloth-Sculpture is a form of art invented in India by a famous Aesthetician in Calcutta, West Bengal Gouri Bose and her husband Sajal Goswami in early 1980's. It is widely use in elite Bengali marriage as a main attraction for decorating the TATWA. Sending Tatwa to the family of a bride or bride-groom is an important part in Bengali marriage. The daily necessary utility goods - from utensils to toiletries could be included in Tatwa. Decorating the Tatwa is considered almost a ritual in Bengal. Almost any outfit can be used as a main material of a Cloth-Sculpture. But the ideal material is a Tant (cotton) Sari but towel is also used for Cloth-Sculpture. Only cello tape and no stuffing is used in this art to give it a desired shape before it finally decorated by the help of varied colored papers, ribbons, glue etc. (Article not completed yet)
