About the Minamata Open Center
[edit]The Minamata Open Center was established in March 2005.
The purpose of this public organization is to train specialists for the research into Minamata disease
MOC is open to a wide range of visitors including students, graduates, teachers, entrepreneurs and all those who wish to learn more about Japan and take part in the cultural exchange between our countries.
The Center has offices in Kumamoto and Minamata.
Minamata Studies is an acdemic discipiline, which puts lessons of failure to good use for the future. It is also based on a field abundant in facts to define what our lifestyle should be. MOC's reserch achievements are returned to the community and disseminated to the world.
