Article evaluation
[edit]Article: African Free Trade Zone
Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic?
Yes, I would say that everything is important
Is there anything that distracted you?
There are many abbreviations and thats why it is hard to understand/read. I always had to see the links behind the abbreviations to understand everything
Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added?
The contract was signed in 2008 and improved in 2012 and 2015. Since then nothing happened and thats why I think it is not out of date cause you can see it more in a historical way
What else could be improved?
I would try to make it easier to read and add some pictures to visualize it
Is the article neutral? Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
The article is neutral cause there are only facts in the article
Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
could be more about the trade blocs
Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
They worked and support the claim, one of the sources was Chinese and I could not understand it.
Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
The sources are newspaper articles but there are not many references and a online article is not the best and neutral source
What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic?
A talk that there is a similar article with a different name and the articles should be merged together
How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects?
It is a C-Class Article with High-Importance and part of many WikiProjects
How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class?
There is not a lot of talk but the talk is in a way it should be. Like we talked about in class
