Hi, I'm Sarah, and I'm a college student at Rice University studying anthropology and poverty, justice, and human capabilities. I'm interested in human rights, health and environmental justice, sustainability, and international development. In 2021, I created the article Environmental racism in the United States. I'm hoping to work on more articles about environmental racism, health equity, and potentially housing rights in the future. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions!
I will be working on the article Environmental Racism in the United States this spring. I created this article in the fall, but I still think it could use more improvements, considering environmental racism’s devastating impact on communities of color. I would add separate sections on examples of environmental racism in different states (i.e. a section on Texas, a section of California, etc.). I also want to add a section on environmental racism in tribal nations.
