Club Lights is a pop song recorded by British singer Rachel Adedeji, which appears in her debut album Club Lights - EP.[1] It is co-written by Starley Hope, Chris Papathanasiou and Maria Marcus[2] and produced by Drew Cox, released in the UK and Ireland on 20 Feburary 2012. The song was released through an independent record label, and the video for the single premired on 20 January 2012, directed by Drew Cox.[3]
Chart performance
[edit]The song failed to chart on the UK Singles Chart, but charted at number two on the UK Independent Chart[4] and it also charted at fourty-nine on the Irish Singles Chart.
Music video
[edit]The music video for the song premired on 20 January 2012[5] via her official youtube account, and is directed by Drew Cox. The video sees Rachel dressed in various robes and dresses swinging veils around while topless men are dancing with her. She sings about making out with a boy under club lights and the background varies through black and white to colour as she sings the chorus.
