Beautiful People is a song by British singer Cher Lloyd, and the fourth single taken from her debut studio album Sticks + Stones. The song will be released on 19 July 2012, and is co-written by Chad Wolfinbarger, Alexander Kronlund, Tom Hamilton and produced by Shellback.
Background
[edit]In April 2012 Cher Lloyd announced via her official website "Beautiful People" is going to be the fourth single from her debut studio album Sticks + Stones.[1] According to Digital Spy, the song musically portrays a sense of passion and beauty, and features calm melodies to flow with the sweet tone of the song.[2] It is about being manipulated by people with a strong essence of beauty, and control over those who are blinded by their magnificent looks. The song features American alternative rock band Carolina Liar.
Music video
[edit]On 19th March 2012, Cher Lloyd posted on her wesbite that fans have the opportunity to appear in the music video, by posting a video of themselves singing along to Beautiful People in their beautiful place.[3] The video is rumoured to premire sometime in July.
Live performances
[edit]Cher Lloyd performed an accoustic version for the song live on MTV, in March 2012.[4]
