Sandeep Sehrawat (born December 31, 1992) is an Indian politician, lawyer, social activist, and a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He currently serves as the District General Secretary for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Najafgarh district and is on the legal panel of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC)

Early Life and Education

Sandeep Sehrawat was born into a farming family in Matiala, Delhi. His father worked as an Assistant Transport Inspector (A.T.I.) in the Delhi Transport Corporation. He completed his early education in Delhi before pursuing a legal education. Sehrawat graduated from the lloyd law college , where he earned both a Bachelor of Academic Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

RSS and Social Activism

At the age of 18, Sandeep completed the Prathmik Varg course in an RSS camp. This was a foundational moment in his life, introducing him to the principles of the RSS. While in college, he took on the role of Vidharthi Parmukh at the district level, organizing and mobilizing students. He was also actively involved in the Bajrang Dal, a Hindu nationalist organization.

In 2022, Sandeep Sehrawat took part in a prominent political protest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following his controversial remarks on the film Kashmir Files. Sehrawat, along with Yuva Morcha national president Tejasvi Surya, led protests outside Kejriwal’s residence.

Role in National Elections

Sehrawat has played an active role in several important election campaigns for the BJP. In 2014, he worked in the Varanasi constituency for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha campaign. He also contributed to campaigns for the late Smt. Sushma Swaraj in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, as well as BJP campaigns in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

Legal Career

In addition to his political career, Sandeep Sehrawat is on the legal panel of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), where he provides legal expertise for the municipal body.
