The 75th anniversary of great victory over Nazi forces in the 1941-1945 was widely celebrated throughout the Russia Federation and former USSR republics in May 2020. Despite a massive COVID outbreak, the military parade in Russia took place in 24th of June, whilst the Immortal Regiment was postponed to an indefinite time. The most people were unable to follow public events, so they uploaded pictures and combat stories of their family members online. Nevertheless the most prominent commemoration took place in Moscow on the Red Square as a culmination of celebration the 75th anniversary on Moscow's Red Square was the military parade, there were engaged 15 thousands of troops, cadets with 225 armored vehicles, 150 fighter planes, the state television broadcasted the Moscow Red Square parade. According to Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation media source, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan confirmed the Russian Victory parade attendance. The Russian president Vladimir Putin secured the historical memory of Great Victory over Nazi Germany in the 1941-1945 with decree, he announced 2020 as a year of memory and glory and founded a committee “Pobeda”, whose main objectives are as follows: 1. preparations for celebration the 75th anniversary; 2. perpetuation of the memory of soldiers who died during The Great Patriotic War
