Direct cash transfer scheme is a new initiative by Indian government to ensure transfer of benefits to right person through Aadhaar based payment system. From January 1, 2013 money under 42 schemes of the central government will be transferred directly into bank accounts of beneficiaries in 51 districts of India. The government of India is planing to disburse ₹300,000 crore (US$36 billion) every year.
