Sockosis is a viral infection seen most commonly in tweens, teenagers, and young adults. It is spread by a common passion for intense laziness. Symptoms include but are not limited to: lone socks dropped in various inconspicuous locations, no motivation to clean/pick up said socks, extreme messiness, addiction to napping, and complete and utter lack of passion for general cleanliness.
