Juan Pablo and Laura used their programming expertise to create Bloggerespacio in 2014, aimed at providing bloggers with metrics and analysis related to social networks. It is headquartered in Spain and has over 500,000 users in 120 countries. This website was dedicated to providing bloggers with metrics and analysis of their readers and their posts in relation to social networks.
Initially free, the tool evolved into a premium version due to demand for more online analysis, eventually expanding to cover all social networks. Metricool officially launched as a social media and online advertising management platform in January 2015 and has since grown in 120 countries.
