About me
S. Hakim For more than a decade I have advocated and worked towards community equity and believe strongly that this includes equitable inclusion in and access to information knowledge. Throughout my career, I have professionally facilitated group processes and have honed a strong skill set for communication, community engagement and volunteer organization. This includes professional facilitation in over 7 countries, working with volunteer communities numbering greater than 4000 and consulting on global diversity and inclusion strategies. My career has given me powerful insights into the needs of diverse communities and best practices for consultation and engagement. I am passionate about equity movement, community consultation and volunteer engagement and am excited by the opportunity to collaborate with volunteers and the team at Wikimedia Foundation for the innovation of a responsive code of conduct.
