S.I.M. Shahriar ( Shah Imam Mohammad Shahriar) was born in a sophisticated Muslim family in Akhaura Upazilla, under the District of Brahmanbaria. His father was Late Noor Mia, The then Pakistan and later on Bangladesh Army officer of Tank Regiment (33 Cavalry) and also served with Bangladesh Ansar & VDP department, who actively participated in 65 Indo-Pak war (Victory Medal Recipient) and subsequently 71 Triangular war in Western Theatre. His mother Mrs Shirina Noor is a house wife who's father was closely tied with Former Prime Minister of India Late Jawhur Lal Nehru. Mr. Shahriar, with triple Masters degree holders served with different fields prior to joining in Banking sector. Now he is working with FSIBL, Bangladesh as an senior Executive. Mr. Shahriar is widely associated with so many social organizations in home and abroad.
