The 2023 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) was a single-elimination tournament of 32 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate on the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament or the NIT.

The following teams are guaranteed berths into the 2023 CBI field by finishing the season with 22 wins but did not win the regular season or conference tournament. Such teams were eligible to receive an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament or NIT but did not.
