Ryan Silke is a historian from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. His primary interest is the history of Northern Canada and most of his contributions on Wikipedia stem from his studies in this field. He is actively involved in the Yellowknife Historical Society, a group that is building a mining museum in Yellowknife.
