Baiju Thittala

Baiju Thittala is the current Mayor of Cambridge, serving as the City Councillor for East Chesterton. He studied politics, sociology, and history at Cambridge Regional College while working as a care assistant. Baiju later pursued a Law degree at Anglia Ruskin University, graduating with a 2.1 in LLB (Hons) in 2013. He furthered his education with a course in Employment Law at the University of East Anglia and a Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin, qualifying as a solicitor in 2019. Baiju, originally from Kerala, India, moved to England in 2004 with his wife Ancy, a nurse.
