FUNDAMENTALS
PACE( Promoting All Aspects for Co-operation and Enlightenment) YOUTH is an Non-Governmental Organization(NGO) registered under The Government of Nepal. It was registered in July 2009. The main idea of establishing such an organization was initiated by Nepali students studying in India and Nepal. Therefore, it is a collective effort. In Pune we are working informally as a group of Students(likeminded people) because we are not registered under the Indian Law. The Pune Chapter of the PACE YOUTH is the only international committee. We have been working here since July 2009(immediately after the registration in Nepal)
VISION Established by SELF-MOTIVATED youth minds who came together for the main purpose of change, PACE YOUTH is for the change in the way we think and do! Our vision is to CHANGE from the stereotypical way of thinking and doing things. For this we do not aim at doing mere social service. Rather our priority is to develop ourselves for the better understanding of self. But it is not spiritual forum. As it is established by the students our basic focus is on students and youth but it is not that hard and fast rule that only students can involve themselves under it. We all types of minds- diversity is essential, because our aim is to have as many and diverse ideas as possible. Therefore PACE YOUTH is the platform for all to start the change from within. Our motto is-If you want change be the change! To bring the change we focus on exchange of ideas, discussion in all types of issues- Individual, professional, national concerns, international concerns, current issues and so on.
POLITICALLY NEUTRAL Our caution is to be away from any type of political activities. We are independent of any political ideologies as an organization but we respect individual opinions. This is the specialty of PACE YOUTH. Our focus is on exchanging our ideas among ourselves. The ideas can be relate to sports, entertainment, education, career development, music, individual experiences, current happenings, environment, our national (about Nepal)issues and so on. For this discussion to be fair and purely intellectual we request all our. We emphasize that it is not any political forum. As a part of our intellectual interaction we are free to discuss political happenings and give own analysis but we do not promote any particular political ideology. Therefore the writers are kindly requested be neutral to any political beliefs.
Our way is – it is not sure that mere tree plantation will necessarily bring environmental awareness. But explaining “ why is it necessary, what if we don’t plant tree, can’t we think of another way of protecting environment, is tree plantation panacea to all types of environmental problems” make us think differently and out of the box. Therefore, thinking differently for self change is our basic motto for the vision-CHANGE!
NEVER STOP DREAMING It is our dream to change our own way to see the change in others. If we don’t change we cannot change others. Therefore , PACE YOUTH is an organization of self- motivated students. But there is no restriction of age that only the students can be the members. Anyone accepting these basic norms and our vision can get the membership of our organization. PACE YOUTH is your organization. We just initiated the idea, you are the person who is supposed to put forth your ideas. We go after ideas not the persons. Therefore, mind is always superior to physique.
PACE YOUTH IS YOUR ORGANIZATION It is implied that everyone reading this leaflet is requested to think that s/he is PACE YOUTH member. You are the person who can contribute for this project of change- self awareness, self education and self change. You are humbly requested to enquire about any information you need about PACE YOUTH. Please think that it’s your organization, it is a common forum to express yourself, to improve yourself, to expose your talent, to enlighten others with your valuable ideas and thus change the traditional way- stereotype. So, come let’s join our minds together for our betterment to change within ourselves and not for anything else.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Inauguration program
Date: 20th Sep, 2009 Venue: BMCC
A youth organization in Nepal, youthpressure.net had been organizing a nationwide campaign to give pressure to the government of Nepal for timely drafting of new constitution of Nepal. As a new organization, we wanted our name to be known. Therefore, we supported that cause by buying their t-shirt which you all had bought and worn in the program. Thank you for the support. It was nothing more than our support to that cause and not politics. The program was inaugurated by Major Dr. Ram Shrestha (Nepal Army Scholar, AFMC) accompanied by Mr. Deepak Poudel ( Professor BMCC), Mr. Raju Gorkha (IUCAA officer) and chaired by Mr. Shiva Kumar Karki. Around 100 Nepali students and youth had participated in the program.
Dashain Program
On the occasion of Dashain 2066, PACE YOUTH organized a gathering and dashain party in the university of Pune. Date: 28th Sep, 2009 Venue : International Boys Hostel premises, UoP
Around seventy people participated in that program. We had dance, singing and various other fun games.
Tihar Program Deepawali 2066 was also full of fun and excitement. We, a group of 15-20 people from PACE YOUTH went to Cornel Mr. Lalit Rai’s home in Kalyani Nagar to chant Deusi song. It was one of the memorable event that out of our home and country we gathered together and could continue our interconnection in typical ways. Date: 15th October 2009.

COLLECTIVE EFFORT To accomplish our motto of change, we are all entitled to work together. So each and every responsible Nepali youth should contribute in paving the way for change. Since the organization is by us for ourselves, the programs are designed by the common consensus and not only by the board members. Everyone is free to express themselves to make it a success. Each of us should have the feeling that this is his/her own organization and everybody, individually as well as collectively, is responsible for any future activities of PACE Youth.
