A strong wind storm blew through my area in May 2007, producing a tornado just north of my town. Unfortunately they wouldn't let me get any closer to the damage than this.
I came back a few days later to see the tree damage and took this picture.
Visited Jay Peak (Vermont) in January, 2008. Took this picture of a wonderful example of hard rime at the summit, on these trees exhibiting Krummholz characteristics.

EF5 damage from one of the most violent tornadoes ever observed.
A very light trace of snowfall allowed one to pick out individual snowflakes on the rear window of this car.
