Yes, this is my real name. In 2009, I created this Wikipedia account to replace an anonymous account I previously used, in order to edit the Ambigram page and create a couple of pages related to those edits (a biography of a living person and a page about a company). I thought that, by using my real name, I would defuse any attacks where people claimed I was creating pages for my own benefit, associated with the company, etc. Sadly, I was wrong.

I hate it when people think they own Wikipedia pages. I really try not to do that myself. Well more than a decade after becoming non-anonymous, I still feel that anonymous editing is one of the worst things about Wikipedia.

My interests on Wikipedia have always been widely varied. In 2009, I spent a lot of time on the Ambigram page and did a lot of work to improve it, fix inaccuracies, and add additional historical information. A few others helped and one person got in the way, so most of those changes were, sadly, lost.

I also created two related pages for Robert Petrick and FlipScript. I happen to have an invented an ambigram-like game, WIM, which is listed on the Scrabble variants page (strictly speaking, it's not really a Scrabble variant, nor is the other game listed -- they are letter tile games). Information on WIM is at www.almanaq.com/wim.
