Christopher R DuBois (born June 4, 1989) is a US Army Cadet, notable for his winter survival while climbing Mount Katahdin after being separated from his party.
Early Life
[edit]DuBois was born to Ross and Karen DuBois, growing up in Madawaska, ME. DuBois graduated from Madawaska High School in 2007 and studied English for a year at the University of Maine at Fort Kent before enlisting in the Army in May of 2008. After Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, OK DuBois transferred to the University of Maine in Orono, ME. There, he participated in the Reserve Officer's Training Corps. DuBois also joined Alpha Delta in the Spring of 2009.
