Turkish Academician, Born in 1948, Ankara, Turkey. (Georgian/Abkhazian origin). Architectural Engineer - Town Planner, grad. Istanbul Technical University, 1971. He earned his M.Sc. from Istanbul Technical University and later did his Ph.D. at the same University's Chair of the City and Regional Planning. Dr. Kirmizi began his career as an academician in I.T.U. With the publication of his Ph. D. Thesis "Pre Ottoman Anatolian Turkish City" (1980), an extensive study on historical heritage of Turkish Cities in Anatolia, he began to travel to see homelands of Turks ranging from Adriatic Sea to the far ends of the China borders. Coincidentally he had been in various problem areas of the world at the time of those mentioned problems. As a reputed academician and polyglot, he has taught at well known and accredited Universities in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Albania. Dr. Kirmizi has also been functioning as a martial arts master in various countries for over 30 years.
